Note: There are many, many yoga DVDs and cds in a variety of styles, ranging from easy to quite difficult, relaxing to energizing. What follows is a subjective list of some of my favorites. Please explore your local library, borrow from friends, and experiment with different styles until you find a style or a teacher that suits you. ALL yoga has benefit as long as you practice, so find what works best for you.

The Bija Studio 4207 Centennial Blvd. Where Finding Om was launched! This intimate studio run by Julie
Berg is a perfect place to start or continue on your yoga journey. Power vinyasa, slow flow, restorative, detox flow, yoga sculpt and a variety of ongoing workshops.
Cambio.yoga 3330 Austin Bluffs Parkway. Colorado Springs' first donation-based studio. Variety of styles and teachers, including basic, power vinyasa and hot yoga.
Corepower Yoga --locations at Garden of the Gods and on Nevada Ave. Power yoga and hot yoga, teacher training and nutrition programs.
Pranava Yoga Center 918 North Weber St. Mike and Charlotte Matsumura's vision of a yoga center in Colorado Springs. Many great classes in a variety of styles, including Mike's lighthearted Dharma Mittra yoga.
Spectrum Wellness 810 Arcturus Dr. This rehab center has two yoga studios and hosts a variety of classes.
There are more--just look in the phone book or online. Yoga classes are offered at health clubs and gyms such as Accolade Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, the YMCA and many others.
Binge Eating Disorder
Christopher Fairburn: Overcoming Binge Eating, Guilford Press, 1995.
Beverly Price is a therapist and yoga teacher who runs a program in Michigan which is very similar to Finding Om Yoga Therapy. Link to her site, Reconnect with Food here.
Substance Abuse
Insight Services, PLLC: Counseling for people with chemical dependencies. Services include court-ordered treatment and DUI Level II education and therapy. Two Finding Om Yoga Therapy groups offered each week.
Peak Addiction Recovery Center (PARC): Residential drug and alcohol rehab center offers individual therapy, education, life skills groups, behavioral modification groups and of course Finding Om Yoga Therapy, all in an incredible mountain setting. PARC also runs sober living homes in Colorado Springs and offers a weekly community-based Finding Om Yoga Therapy group. Contact Mike McKelvey for more information.
Yoga of Recovery: Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation and 12 step programs all rolled into one. Founder Durga Leela is an Ayurvedic specialist, yoga teacher and has been involved with the 12 Step Fellowship for over 12 years.
